Tell the studio who it is for and what it should carry. Everything here shapes the lyrics and the arrangement.

Shapes the language, names and imagery in the lyrics, and the rules the studio follows. How we handle each tradition. Sikh kirtan is not offered; see why.

Questions

Straight answers

Can I hear it before paying?

Yes. Creating the song is free and you'll hear a 30-second preview of both takes before anything is charged. If it moves you, unlock the full song for $8.88.

Is this made by AI?

Every song here is made with AI. You write or approve every word; the studio composes the music and sings it from your approved lyrics. No song is recorded by human musicians. We say this plainly because you and your congregation deserve to know what you are singing. Read how songs are made.

Is this for one religion?

No. Choose your tradition — Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Jewish, Buddhist, or spiritual and interfaith — and the studio writes within it, following written rules for that tradition: public-domain Scripture only, the Qur'an never set to music, traditional public mantras only, the four-letter divine name never written. Each tradition's page explains its rules in plain language.

Do you offer Sikh kirtan?

No. In the Sikh tradition, kirtan is the singing of Gurbani — the words of the Guru Granth Sahib — and it is not ours to generate or set to new music. We say this with respect and would rather point you to your gurdwara.

How long does it take?

About a minute. The studio drafts the lyrics for your approval, then generates and arranges two takes while you wait. No emails, no coming back later.

Why do I get two versions?

Every generation returns two takes: same lyrics, two different arrangements and performances. Pick your favorite; that's the one you download and publish.

Can I use my own lyrics, scripture or a prayer?

Absolutely. Write from scratch, paste a psalm, a du'a, a shloka or a family prayer, or let the studio draft lyrics and change anything you like. Nothing is generated until you approve every word. Prefer no vocals? Flip the instrumental toggle.

Can I play it in a service or give it as a gift?

Yes. An unlocked song may be sung and played in services and events, projected or printed, included in livestreams and recordings of your services, posted on your congregation's own channels, given as a gift and shared within your family or congregation. You may not resell it or upload it to streaming stores yourself; publishing is a separate, optional step. The Personal and Congregational Use License has the full list.

What if the full song has a mistake the preview didn't show?

The preview is 30 seconds and the full song is longer. If your unlocked song has an obvious defect — a garbled line, a mispronounced sacred name, a cut-off ending — email hello@religionrelief.com within 14 days and we will regenerate it at no charge. See the re-take guarantee.

Can I choose voice only, or specific instruments?

Yes. The Instrumentation field offers a full arrangement, acoustic, vocals with percussion only, or vocals only. Nasheed defaults to vocals only; bhajan defaults to harmonium, tabla and kartals. Name specific instruments in your description if you want them.

What do I get for $5.55 publishing?

We release your song on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, YouTube Music and more through the Religion Relief distributor account and administer it. Stores require cover art and a real songwriter name; you'll add both before checkout. You can ask for removal at any time by email. Details in the license.

How does cover art work?

Upload your own square image free, or generate one: your first AI cover is free, and $2.22 unlocks four more options if you want choices.

Is my song private?

Yes. It lives in your library and only you can hear it. It never goes public unless you choose to publish.

Which payment methods work?

Secure card checkout via Stripe. If card payments aren't live yet you'll see a clear "payments not configured" notice instead of a charge.
