Religion Relief ("we", "us") operates www.religionrelief.com and the Religion Relief Studio (the "Service"). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. The Service is intended for adults (18+).
What we collect
- Account data. Email address, a password (stored only as a salted hash), and an optional display name when you create an account.
- Studio content. The song descriptions, tradition, style, mood, language, lyrics and titles you enter; the audio files, cover art and version choices generated for your account.
- Publishing details. If you choose to publish a song: the songwriter's legal name and the artist name you want shown on stores.
- Payment data. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number. We keep a record of what you paid for (song unlock, publishing, art pack), the amount and the status.
- Technical data. Standard server logs (IP address, browser, timestamps) and, if enabled, aggregate analytics about how the site is used.
How we use it
- To generate your lyrics, songs and cover art (your inputs are sent to our AI music and image providers to fulfil the request).
- To keep your library, unlocks and downloads tied to your account.
- To process payments, prevent fraud and send purchase receipts or release notifications.
- To release songs you've paid to publish through our distributor (DistroKid) to streaming platforms.
- To keep the Service secure and to improve it.
Who we share it with
Only service providers needed to run the Studio: our hosting and database providers (Vercel, Neon), our payment processor (Stripe), AI generation providers (Mureka for music, OpenAI for artwork), our transactional email provider (Resend) and, for published songs only, our distributor (DistroKid). We do not sell your personal data.
Your songs
Songs in your library are private and visible only to you. A song is released publicly only when you pay to publish it. You can delete an unpublished song from your library at any time, and you can request removal of a published song from streaming platforms by emailing us.
Retention
We keep account and library data while your account is active. Payment records are retained as required for accounting and tax purposes. You can ask us to delete your account and unpublished content at any time.
Cookies and storage
We use browser local storage to keep you signed in (a session token) and to restore an in-progress song after a payment redirect. We do not use advertising cookies on the Studio.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing. Email hello@religionrelief.com and we'll respond promptly.
Changes
We'll post any changes to this page and update the date above. Material changes will be announced on the site.
